About the owner - Dawn

My name is Dawn. I began making jewelry in the early 90's as a way to explore my creative side. I have always loved using my hands to produce something tangible.

But soon I realized that jewelry is more than a tangible product. It is so much more. I have come to respect the seemingly endless possibilities and the way in which the beads, that began as the centerpieces of my jewelry, have connected peoples of cultures from all over the world to each other. This continuum is something that I thrive on, something that gets my juices flowing.

I have continuously taken classes and taught myself various techniques since the early 90's. I can't get over how people unbeknownst to each other put a whole into something and thought to string it. That amazes me.

I discovered this new and very useful tool while checking out another team forum today. With this tool you type in your shop name and you have your choice of things to check out regarding your shop. You can check your hearts, get stats about your shop such as listing and viewer distribution,feedback, etc. One of the most exciting tabs is the "helpers" tab that allows you to create product flyers with your shop banner and relevant information about a product from your shop. Coming soon is one for multiple products that can also be edited. They are also working on a simple invoice maker. You can also do prodcut searches from here. There is so much here that is exciting! For all of us who have blogs and websites, you can create a widget to place there with your products. It is always changing, unlike the mini. ANYONE who has an etsy shop should really check this out!
